Dr. Robert Kifer, DDS

Dr. Kifer has returned to us here at Northland Health Centers as a part-time dentist. Previously, he was the Supervising Dentist for
Northland Health as well as a staff dentist. For the last two years he has worked in California, where he was born and raised. Dr. Kifer
retired last month from Dentistry and he, along with his wife and daughter, moved back to their home in Rugby. He enjoys the rural
lifestyle and the quietness it has to offer. Dr. Kifer was contacted by his former supervisor and CEO from Northland Health Centers when she heard he was moving back to North Dakota, to inquire if he would have interest in working part-time with Northland. He said, “that would be great, I would love to help out!”. Dr. Kifer understands that whether it is for a full-time or a part-time position, here in Northern North Dakota, it is extremely difficult to fill these dentist positions. There is such a shortage of dental staff and it is an ongoing struggle for these rural areas up north. Dr. Kifer would like to help out as he can because there is no shortage of patients in Rolette County, and he feels that there are so many wonderful people that live in this rural area, too.
